Installation steps

LotFinder is not yet listed on the Chrome Web Store, so it must be installed manually as an unpacked extension. This takes about 2 minutes and only needs to be done once.

Download & extract the zip

Click the Download Extension button above. Once downloaded, right-click the file and choose Extract All… (Windows) or double-click (Mac). Remember where you saved the extracted folder — you'll need it in step 3.

Open the Chrome extensions page

In Chrome, open a new tab and go to:

chrome://extensions

Or click the three-dot menu ⋮ → Extensions → Manage Extensions.

In the top-right corner of that page, enable the Developer mode toggle.

Load the unpacked extension

Click the Load unpacked button that appears after enabling Developer mode. In the file picker, navigate to and select the folder you extracted in step 1 (it should contain manifest.json).

Click Select Folder. LotFinder will appear in your extensions list.

Pin it to the toolbar

Click the puzzle-piece icon 🧩 in Chrome's toolbar, find LotFinder, and click the pin icon to keep it visible.

Sign in and start saving listings

Click the LotFinder icon in your toolbar, sign in with your LotFinder account, select a project, then browse to any listing on REALTOR.ca and click Add to Project.

⚠ Keeping the extension up to date

Manually installed extensions don't update automatically. When a new version is released, download the zip again, extract it into the same folder (overwrite existing files), then go to chrome://extensions and click the ↺ refresh icon on the LotFinder card.
